Verification & Trust

How BuyHomesPeru verifies listings

BuyHomesPeru Editorial · Published August 6, 2026 · 2 min read

Every published listing passes a documented review before it reaches this site.

We do not republish third-party classified inventory. Every listing on BuyHomesPeru is submitted by an approved agent and reviewed by our team before publication.

At review we confirm the agent's identity and their brokerage registration, confirm the agent holds written authority to market the property, check that the asking price and area match the documents supplied, review the photography for accuracy, and rewrite or edit the description into native English.

For listings marked Standard or Enhanced we additionally confirm the registered owner against the SUNARP record and review the registry entry for encumbrances.

Availability is reconfirmed with the listing agent on a rolling schedule, and the date of the last confirmation is printed on every property page. Listings that go unconfirmed past our threshold are flagged and paused.

Verification is a good-faith review of the information available to us at a point in time. It is not a substitute for independent legal due diligence, and we recommend every buyer retain their own Peruvian counsel.
